The Engage, Study and Activate methodology is what we will be using to teach English as a foreign language. During the Engage phase, it is important that we elicit the student to get involved in the lesson by using different techniques so that they respond to the learning experience. During the Study phase, we make sure the student focus on how the language is constructed, we will present the student with the language point and will perform drills to ensure correct pronunciation. Finally, in the Activate phase, we will encourage the student to use all of the language they know. There are many forms of applying this phases and knowing when, how and what to correct while differentiating errors from mistakes will be key for the student success.
