The content of this unit deals with evaluation and testing within and outside the language school where English is taught. This course unit discusses the evaluation of students through a number of methods including tutorials, evaluation of the course by the students themselves, and a variety of tests. Examples of the tests mentioned and discussed in this course unit include placement, diagnostic, progress and practice tests. These aforementioned tests considered in this course unit were shown to be useful at different stages - before, during and at the end of an English language course. I have been able to understand several techniques to utilise in the evaluation and testing of students? language skills in the classroom.
