Lesson planning is very useful for inexperienced teachers to helps and guide them to keep on target to refer during the lesson. Lesson planning has a number of important functions such as creates a logical sequence for the lesson, working document, forms a record of what has been done in the lesson and can be used for 'covering'by another teacher.
To write a lesson plan, must have an objective first. Then only plans the activities to use to achieve the objective by using E-S-A method. If there is a lot to cover in a fixed amount of time, then its can be break into sections that can speed up or slow down to accommodate changes as happen. There are few things that need to be included in the lesson planning, which are who will be interacting at each section of the activities, the procedure of the activities, the level of the ability of the class, number of the students in the lesson and etc.
Teachers need to monitor and notes the quality of the whole process of the activities to evaluate by themselves for improvement.
