Unit 14 covers topics regarding course books and lesson materials. It provides the guidelines and criteria in selecting and using books and materials at various levels of English classes. As I am new in the field, I would like to select well-tested books because they will provide a good base for completing the teaching points, suitable graded levels and continuity of learning progress. Meanwhile, I would like to utilize the books and materials wisely by omitting irrelevant parts and supplementing created materials which are suitable to the class's level and needs. Overall a balanced teaching materials will better fit the needs of a specific class.
