Today i learnt about modal verbs, phrase verbs and passive voice. Firstly i learnt about modal auxiliary verbs. i learnt what they are, some basic rules used when using them, uses of them and present/future and past tenses.I then learned teaching ideas i could use when teaching students about auxiliary verbs. Second was passive voice where are i learnt what it is in comparison to active voice. I learned the form, usage, typical student errors and teaching ideas in relation to passive voice. Next i learnt about relative clauses. I learnt what they are and that they have three different categories which are dependent, independent and relative. I learnt the difference between the three. Lastly i learnt about phrasal verbs that have three different types which are transitive separable, intransitive and transitive inseparable. I learnt the difference between the three.
