I learned a lot from this lesson in regards to course books and lesson material. I am happy to know that the use of authentic and created material is encouraged instead of strictly following a corse book. I can see that there are advantages to following a \"tried and true\" text book over created material, but there are also disadvantages too. A created lesson can be great for making the lesson unique and engaging. The teacher can also become more hospitable to what materials the students are particularly stimulated by. I think, as the teacher becomes more experienced he/she would be able to create a lesson that would suit the level of the class, regardless or the use of a course book or a created lesson.
