In this unit, I learned how to plan an excellent lesson that involves all four essential skills. Receptive and productive skills are all equally important. To have a lesson that is focused on students' interests is very essential as well. Engaging students in the topic/theme of the lesson is crucial. Getting students to speak in the target language is very important. As a teacher, one must be careful with text selection as it can affect the overall student attitude towards the lesson and class participation. Sparking students' interests while having a structured lesson is essential. To conclude, a well balanced lesson which includes all four skills and is designed for all the students is the main goal.
