In response to the last unit, this unit was about the productive skills. The first part was dedicated to speaking and discussed the necessity for the teacher to create a need and a desire for the students to want to take part in the discussions. Activities, controlled when aiming for accuracy, free and creative for fluency growth or guided for both, must encourage the students to speak/interact with each other. In the second part, writing is detailed through the main differences between speaking and writing, explaining how notions such as handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation could be problematic. Creativity is once more encouraged and games are given as examples for successful engage or activate educational activities.
