Teaching methods should be eclectic and not derived from single methodology. The teacher will have flexibility depending on the needs of the subject matter and the level of the students when not confine on certain methods of teaching. I wish this unit showed more examples of elicitation and prompts with more cultural sensitivity towards the locals we are teaching english with. What I notice are games and activities that are usually played by American kids in school or at home. Maybe you can show more games and activities that the Thais in the countryside actually play. That can generate more engagement rather than a game they only know for the first time.
