This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 18 concentrated on modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. Modals are: can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't and ought to. They are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. They are used to express different ideas such as obligation, probability, permission, ability, and advice. Passive voices are mainly active or passive. In a passive voice, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. In the active voice, the focus is on the agent. Phrasal verbs consist of a verb plus one or two particles.
