I have never designed a lesson plan before, but this lesson helped me cater the ESA activities to the English level of the class. It was solid, practical experience that allowed me to get creative with the activities and design an effective lesson plan. The task-based questions were well-designed because it did not require me to regurgitate information, but instead, allowed me to think deeper about the teaching methods, how they come together, and how to apply it to a group of students. I also valued the final task question on error correction, which made me search for writing sources that contain common errors so that I could practice my resourcefulness as well as my ability to catch and properly correct errors.
