This unit covered productive skills - writing and speaking. In addition, each skill has subcategories of fluency and accuracy. Fluency is concerned with rapid production and comprehension. Accuracy is concerned with proper grammar, pronunciation, punctuation, and so forth. Both are important. The unit gave many examples of games or activities that can be used in a lesson to strengthen these skills. It also recommended focusing on accuracy in the Study stage of an ESA, and fluency in the Activate stage. That stands out to me as one of the biggest things to take away from this lesson. There are hundreds of games and activities that can be found everywhere on the internet, so it didn't seem critical to memorize each. But remembering to focus on certain skills at certain times is something that should be considered at all times when planning a lesson.
