In summation of this entire course, chapter twenty goes over troubleshooting, and discusses common problem situations that we may face as teachers of foreign language. The chapter begins by explaining what must be done in a first lesson, in the way of establishing rapport with the students, and with the classmates to each other. In the first lesson it is the teacher's objective to ascertain the needs and aspirations of the students (as far as learning English) and to find out about the students interests. Activities for warming exercises is introduced, and suggestions on how to handle different levels within a group, large classes, and reluctant students.
