I found this unit particularly interesting as it made me aware of how teachers must adjust their methods based on the age and experience of the learner. I especially liked how I was given 'dos and don'ts' for each teaching group and the possible activities provided were also very helpful. The Business English section was helpful for me because I have never had any experience of teaching in this setting and so I had not considered the fact that all the students may not have the same language ability. Tips such as checking the facilities available to me before arriving at the company and doing some research on the business before starting the course will undoubtedly be very helpful in the future and will allow me to structure the course thoroughly and to tailor it to the students' individual needs.
