Evaluating students ways to assess a students level including tutorials, evaluations by students, and test. Different test that are given at different stages of the course. placement test, progress tests, diagnostic tests, practice tests, and general external examinations were all discussed. The unit explained when each one of the test would be used and how often. Unit 15 went over typical reason why teachers should evaluate a student. The placement test is very important because it lets the teacher know what level the students should be placed in. The unit went over Cambridge examinations. The only thing I did not understand was what test is usually not conducted in a language school, since a placement exam is necessary, diagnostic, and progress test are all part of testing. The external exam I am guessing is given outside of language school.
