I had been waited to read the \"Different Levels\" section since I started this course. I currently split my class into two, but was hoping for some fresh ideas, as it has been quite tiring, and I've been questioning its effect on student morale. I liked the suggestion of \"same materials, different tasks\" and do so often. Pairing strong and weak students has always seemed like a bad idea, but after studying this unit, I feel like I should give it a chance.
The use native language is a whole topic in itself.If students asked a question in their native language, I would always respond in English, and they would understand most of the time, so I saw no harm in it.But now I think I will only respond when asked something in English. Thank you for the help!
