I cannnot say how much valuable information I have acquired from this unit, which = has shaped my teaching philosophy from a more scientific perspective. My old teaching method was merely focused on study phase with most class time spent on teacher's instruction and students' worksheet. But sooner or later, students will start to show decreased interests as result of insufficient engage or activate activities. I am planning to add more small group activities of which the points will be totaled each time and accumulated towards students' final grade. But something that I did quite well in the past is how I corrected mistakes and gave feedback. I normally encourage students to self reflect the mistake or others to assist. In addition to teacher's correction, I always do private tutoring when a student cannot fix his error after trying for multiple times.
