This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered differences between the active and passive voice, how to used modal auxiliary verbs as they are intended and relative clauses. A lot of this unit was a good review of some grammar functions that I had forgotten about from college classes. The unit gives good technical explanation for the context in which each modal is used, but some of the usages felt slightly in accurate to how native speakers use them, and some aren't commonly used anymore in some of the correct functions. It made me consider when teaching things such as the functions of modal auxiliary verbs whether it is important to actually teach all technical usages even if some aren't completely practical.
