I enjoyed studying Unit 19, called Teaching Special Groups. This unit focused mostly on the various types of ESL beginners and Business English students. It had a large list of DOs and DONTs when teaching Beginners, which is very important when exposing a group of beginners to a new language. I was able to relate this unit to an experience teaching beginner children last summer. I would have liked to see different ways to aid students who experience stress outside of the classroom in their lives. At points, profound stress and issues from home or life are brought into the classroom and it would have been interesting to learn a bit about how to deal with this type of situation.
