While watching the first video, I was bored and struggling to focus, which was the point. If I was bored as a native English speaker who understands the unit being taught, I would hate to know how the ESL students trying to understand it felt. The second lesson was fun and engaging and held my attention, even as a non-participant. I have always been a strong believer that the way a person presents themselves will affect the way people respond to them, and it was good to see it in these videos. My one critique of this unit overall would be that the videos, especially the first, were filmed poorly and it made it very difficult to hear what the teacher was saying, even with my volume turned the whole way up. This is merely a technical critique, however. The content was great.
