In this unit, I have learned of how the phonemic alphabet can be a very helpful tool when it comes to learning and teaching the english language to those without the native english tongue. I have found it also interesting of how proniunciation can be taught in multiple ways other than just book work. There is much knowlege one can learn by constant interaction with the language. Listening and speaking are critical in learning the sounding of the english language and student talk time I believe should be maximized and for soft correction to be made accompanied by pronounciation and written examples.
