This unit looks at how to deliver new vocabulary, grammar and other language concepts effectively in the classroom. This unit also provides examples of suitable activities for each lesson topic, as well as how to build them into an effective lesson structure.
I have learnt that the four fundamental things students need to learn when being taught a new language are being fully exposed to it, understanding its meaning, and how the language is constructed, as well as being able to practice and produce it. I was also keen to see the contexts used when choosing techniques for presenting and practicing language structures in a classroom setting, e.g. using typical ESA grammar lessons for mid level students or the ESA Boomerang type lesson.
