This unit discussed ways to arrange lessons to help the students better learn the language. It covered techniques for teaching different aspects of language(grammar, vocabulary, etc.), and included samples of typical ESA lessons in the various styles(Straight arrow, boomerang, patchwork). I found it particularly helpful that the sample activities for each aspect of the language was also broken down into which part of the lesson it should be used with (pictures and relia in the Engage phase, gap-fill and matching in the Study phase, role-play and story building in the Activate phase, and so on).
