This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
While reading the unit \"Planning Lessons,\" I found myself between Teacher-Centered \"TC\" and Student-Centered \"SC\". Because I graduated from school in Kazakhstan, a country whose Soviet educational system still exists, it means only the teacher talks until the teacher decides to question the students. Now I understand the meaning of the Student-Centered Teaching. \"Why don't we ask our students what they need?\" and let them freely guide their understanding of the individual participants in each program. It can guide the teacher's instruction. So, I totally agree that teachers should have a lesson plan, but at the same time they need to be flexible to meet the needs of the students.
