This unit covered the process of lesson planning. It provides a general structure and some suggestions as to the various aspects that a lesson plan should include such as procedure, phase, timing and interaction. From this chapter I have learned the importance of having a lesson plan. Although this is a not a strict document that must be followed it provides a guide and reference for the teacher throughout the lesson. It helps the teacher to considered all aspects of the lesson from problems that may arise to the objectives for both student and teacher. However, it is crucial that a lesson plan is adaptable and flexible for the situation at hand, as all lesson can be different.
