In watching the videos of the two lessons, clear examples are provided in how to conduct a productive lesson. In lesson one, the teacher's attitude made a profound effect on the class as a whole. His negativity and lack of interest in the students created an atmosphere of confusion and intimidation. Maintaining a positive and engaging attitude is key for student participation. In lesson one, the teacher would seem to have an unproductive class for the remaining semester. Students do not learn from fear and intimidation. The mood of the classroom should be positive and a safe space to be curios and make mistakes.
