This unit was very enlightening to me as a student and as a future teacher because I didn't realize, in so many words, how many present tenses there are in the English language and how difficult it is to learn to differentiate between them. I have some Latin background, so I knew some of the technical terms: past perfect, future perfect, etc. However, the need to really understand the many tenses and the ability to teach them well is apparent from this lesson. I appreciate the many examples provided in the lesson, not just of the tenses themselves, but also in the different activities that may be used to teach and convey these concepts.
