This unit covered the use of equipment and aids in teaching. One piece of equipment I don't want to use or think is necessary is the cassette recorder because it is better to speak to the class myself or have the class speak, and aid this speaking with body language and visual aids such as pictures. A piece of equipment I am intrigued by is the IWB, especially since I've never seen one before, obviously never using one. They weren't around when I was in school. It will allow me to hook up a computer and show the class youtube videos and other web content I want to show such as online dictionaries and translators.
