Unit 17 covered equipment and teaching aids for language teachers. There are many different teaching aids; e.g. boards (white or chalk boards), dictionaries, videos and DVDs, course books, etc. One of the most expensive but also very effective teaching aids is the IWB (Interactive White Board) which works like an oversized interactive computer screen on the wall with its own software. There are many interactive classroom lessons and activities on the market. I really profited from the amount of resources for teaching websites, dictionaries, online lessons and exercises mentioned in this unit. All of the provided resources will help me to set up a successful lesson plan.
