This unit covers different ways of evaluating students' English levels and their progress, as well as common external exams that students might have to prepare for.
My lessons online and offline have predominantly been focused on speaking, which is probably more easily monitored by their (increased) ability to speak fluently. For lessons which are more structured, review will be easier to implement and monitor. However, informal conversational lessons may not require it at all just due to the nature of the lessons.
On the other hand, I have recently done a diagnostic test with one of my students, which I found helpful in finding out what the student already understands and I hope will prove useful for future lessons.
