It was quite insighful to do a self-reflection on the way I was teaching, on how I was using gestures, eye contact and voice in my own classes. I realized how some simple and default mistakes in my behaviour as a teacher might have been left unnoticed by myself. Students in my class often answer questions in a particular order, which lets them know and therefore prepare answers to their questions and pay less attention to the other students' questions. I also picked up a few insightful tips on managing STT and TTT, classroom arrangement, establishing rapport, etc. Overall a very insightful unit, I will make sure to follow the tips and suggestions from the unit during my lessons.
