This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit provides understanding of the four different forms that occur within the present tense, the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous tense. This has proven to be the hardest unit yet because it covers an understanding of an aspect of the English language that, as a native speaker, I take for granted and give little consideration to. It has been useful in the sense that it has given me explanation, tools and understanding of how to explain the present tense to students. As such, I feel that it will increase my capacity as a teacher to be clear and confident in my explanations of the present tenses to my students.
