This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit helped me to be able to understand the rules included in English grammer, as for the overall structure that should be used within. Many non native English speakers I have met would say that these rules are fairly simple in theory but in practice are incredibly difficult in practice. In the present perfect tense, the speaker would be actively speaking about the present but with references from the past. For example, 'We have played today' this sentence uses 'played' which is a reference from the past as well as 'today', meaning the present time. But the sentence in all would be set at in the present. I can see students could find this confusing at first without adding in other factors such as contracted forms and negative forms 'We've not played today'.
