I learned that behavior problems can depend on many different factors. Students will be coming from all walks of life so it is important to be sensitive to students 'out of class' issues. Having said that, it is also important to take care of disciplinary problems immediately. The teacher must always remain calm and never make threats that they cannot keep. Some ways to increase classroom effectiveness include; being consistent, using visual adds and checking comprehension. The way the teacher sets up the dynamic of his/her classroom can greatly affect the atmosphere of the classroom. It may contribute to disciplinary problems or it may greatly facilitate the students learning. As a teacher, it is very important to know which dynamic is best to use based on certain factors like classroom size and student age. Some of these dynamics include; orderly rows, horseshoe, or separate tables.
