This unit covered the methodology of introducing new language, grammatical structures and functions to students, providing various rough lesson plans that can be altered to suit the target skill level. One of the key things was to ensure that the students are 'exposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed and be able to practise and produce it'. I particularly enjoyed the examples of lesson plans: this definitely helped cement my understanding of creating an effective classroom environment in order to utilise these techniques, and I will make sure that I incorporate them in the future.
