Unit eight introduced productive skills which are speaking and writing. There are two different forms of speaking activities; accuracy and fluency activities. Accuracy activities are controlled and guided by the teacher to concentrate on correct language. Whereas fluency activities are a form of creative communication focusing on allowing the students to experiment with the new language. In order to encourage speaking between students pair work, or group work is very helpful to build confidence and lower fear. The more neglected of productive skills is writing.
