Having the opportunity to watch the different methods in a classroom setting was very informative. In the first video, the teacher seems to be rude, intimidating and insensitive to the students. This discourages them from participating in class. In the second video, the teacher is very expressive and engaging. He immediately introduces himself and asks for the name of each student in the class. Right from the start, the students are relaxed and ready to learn. I feel that I have learned that it is important to replicated the teaching style shown in the second video. Students are become very engaged and open to any corrections in a relaxed setting.
