Lesson planning has been a large concern for me throughout the period in which I have worked as EFL instructor. Their usefulness is clear to me. I should be keeping them as a record of my previous lessons and as a guide for other instructors with whom I might work in the future. What is more clear now is that I should use them as a tool to compare and contrast previous lessons plans - so that I might diversify the array of activities which I consider for each lesson. By looking at older lesson plans, I may improve on them for better lessons. This unit provided a very useful breakdown of the different parts of the lesson plan's structure. I liked the design as seen on page 4. I am willing to use this format for upcoming lessons this year.
