This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This was a very enjoyable part of the Tesol course as it makes students/potential teachers aware of the importance of all Reading and Listening skills. We have to assume that all students have an inability to speak or listen effectively. As the lesson goes on and we meet the students more regularly we can gage an idea of who is stronger and weaker than others. Thus we can create a lesson that fits and suits all needs. Making the lesson more enjoyable and receptive to the students. Only focusing on the weaker students is detrimental to the stronger ones. Incorporating the receptive skills and productive skills is essential in order to show within the lesson plans effective teaching and show casing to others what the students may have learned.
