This unit focused on classroom dynamics and your role as a teacher. It addressed many issues such as how to group students, how to give instructions, and how to effectively improve the rapport within your class. It also discussed constructive methods for maintaining discipline within your class. This chapter was a general guide for managing your class. Obviously every situation is different, but I thought this unit offered very useful tips and suggestions. I particularly liked the ideas for how to arrange your classroom and the many ways to establish rapport within the classroom. I also appreciated that this unit included the pros and cons of each proposed idea.
