This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 16 introduces the English grammar of conditionals and the reported speech. Conditional sentences are also known as conditional clauses or if Clauses. They describe the result of something that might happen (in the present or future) or might have happened but didn't (in the past). They are made using different English verb tenses. Unit 16 outlines the form and usage of the four types Conditionals, as well as giving teaching ideas about them. Unit 16 describes the usage of reported speech. We use reported speech when we want to tell someone what someone said. We usually use a reporting verb (e.g. say, tell, ask, etc.) and then change the tense of what was actually said in direct speech. At the end, Unit 16 lists out some great teaching ideas about reported speech.
