A number of teaching themes have been taught in this unit. These themes explain different approaches a teacher may employ while delivering a business English lesson. Each BE lesson may make use of one or more of the teaching themes. The unit clearifies things by demonstrating these themes in three full lesson plans. The unit like others in this course, encourages research work as it gives websites from whih complete information for certain ideas in the unit can be gotten. It also give tasks that can only be completed if research is carried out by the teacher from any source he thinks necessary, with more emphasis on online research.
I have been made to understand in this unit that in teaching BE, I will always develop my teaching materials, decide on any relevant teaching aid I will need and finally develop a teaching plan following the ESA methodology. However, clear examples have been used for demonstration and together with the themes I will find it relatively easy to build up a relevant lesson plan for any business English lesson.
