This unit has been a great help to me as I embark on a career in TEFL.I have learnt step by step the lessons and skills required to be an efficient teacher.Most importantly,I have learnt to compose a balanced lesson plan to make them constructive and motivational.I know that I will come across students of different cultural backgrounds some,who will be familiar with the language,and others,who will be new to the language.I will now know how to deal with each category.By composing a lesson plan in accordance to the level of the class, using the ESA methods of introducing grammar and vocabulary,will be good learning exposure for the students who are not native speakers.There are different effective methods of student elicitation that can be introduced by an efficient teacher.Another important aspect is classroom management ,that might not be easy,especially for a new teacher in a large classroom.There will be many challenges that I will encounter in my teaching career,but then,how will I know what success is, if I donot overcome them?
