This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
We have seen in this unit that conditionals are sentence structures that explain a particular situation or circumstance and its consequences. There are four main conditionals that are commonly used in the English language: first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and zero conditional. The first conditional is all about daily considerations or issues that have a real possibility of occurring. The second conditional deals with events that are not real possibilities, in other words they are not tangible events that are certain to impact daily life. For example, when we are dreaming about something or fantasizing. The third conditional talks about events in the past and ponders the effects of those events not happening. Finally the zero conditional talks about issues that are always true. Then, the unit explains the reported speech and direct speech how the verbs, pronouns tenses and time expressions change. Also The unit also offers teaching ideas about conditionals and reported speech very useful to consider in our future lessons.
