This Unit taught me about productive skills and how to teach/approach this topic. It also puts the factors of accuracy vs fluency into contrast. From my personal experience I can tell, that speaking is definitely one of the biggest burdens for students, specially in classrooms, where you may have completely different students with different strengths and weaknesses. Some are more afraid than others to speak. But, I can also say, that ones a student becomes more comfortable with this part, the learning curve often rapidly changes into positive outcomes. That said, speaking remains one of the most important part of learning a language and should always dominate a lesson in my opinion. This usually also reflects positively on the grammar part with time, as students can easier associate things if their speaking abilities improve. Conclusion: Not a bad Unit, reflecting some interesting and helpful points. But the part on ESA still remains confusing.
