As one of the main aims of this course, this unit explains how Conditional and reported speech may be taught, following the ESA method. It is normal that the language topic is first taught to clarify the teacher on the subject matter before extending to how it is being taught. Hinds of possible students' errors have been given.
Apart from learning how to teach conditional and reported speech, I have enriched myself with knowledge of how to classify conditional speech into zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. This is an important aspect I did not know. I have also learned concisely the tense patterns that should be considered when reporting speeches of various tenses.
