There are four present tenses. Present simple, this form is basic subject + aux verb\"do\" and base form + es or s to form 3rd person singular. Present continuous, it uses sub + verb to be + verb and ing. This form uses non progressive verbs= like, love, hate want, believe etc. The third is present perfect this relate the past to the present using sub + aux verb 'have' + past participle. There are many irregular verb that have to be memorized. And the last is present perfect continuous. This relates the past action to present activity that will continue into the future. this form is sub + aux verb 'have' been + verb + ing. Miming, acting out activities, questioning each other about the day, guessing my profession by asking questions are samples of actives to use teaching present tenses.
