In Unit 16, we learn conditional sentences are those that uses if/when to make reference to past, present, and future possibilities. It explains that sentences using 'if' or 'when' form two types of clauses known as the 'if' clause and the main clause. Also, it states the five main conditionals to be Zero, First, Second, Third, and Mixed. This unit also brings into focus reported speech and direct speech. The unit explains in depth how reported speech is how it sounds, someone reporting back to the third party what was said by someone or a group of persons. And, direct speech is the actual speech between persons.
