This unit is talking about different types of material and how to use them in the most effective way. Authentic material are produced for a purpose outside the classroom, such as a newspaper. Non-authentic material has been produced to be used in the classroom as a teachingaid.
Further on the unit is talking about lesson planning. It's explaining how to use a lesson plan, what should be on it and whz it is a useful tool.
I have learned that it's helpful to keep in mind, that another teacher should be able to teach my lesson from my lesson plan. With that in mind I know how much should be on that lesson plan.
