Unit 15 introduces the variety ways of language evaluation and testing. Evaluation is an integral part of education. It affects the way students study, their motivation, performance and their aspirations. At curriculum level, it gives us an idea of whether the curriculum we have set up ? means ? is leading us to our educational goals/objectives ? ends. Unit 15 describes the tree ways of assess a student language level: tutorials, evaluation by students and tests, it covers most kinds of the internal tests. At the end, Unit 15 outlines lots of external examinations and their focus, which I found especially useful.
